Zusammenfassung: | New glucopyranose-nitrosourea compounds with antitumor activity are disclosed which have, as substituents, 2-chloroethyl- nitrosourea group as well as one member selected from branched-alkyl of 4-9 carbon atoms, cyclohexyl, methylcyclohexyl, benzyl methylphenyl, phenylethyl and normal-alkyl of 5-10 carbon atoms. These new compounds may be produced by reacting corresponding amino-glucopyranose compounds having amino or acid-added amino group with o-(or p-)nitro- or o-(or p-)cyano- phenyl N-(2-chlorethyl)- N-nitrosocarbamate compounds. Pharmaceutical compositions available for various tumor systems may be prepared by mixing physiologically acceptable carriers with the new compounds of the present invention. |
