Zusammenfassung:A 14-year-old female patient presented with sudden blindness in both eyes and inability to move both upper and lower limbs for 1 day. Clinical findings, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF) examination fulfilled the diagnostic criteria of Devic′s disease, one of the rare forms of demyelinating disease. After intravenous methylprednisolone treatment, her visual acuity and motor functions returned to normal.
