Zusammenfassung: | IntroductionIt is unknown whether manufacturers’ predicted transcatheter heart valve (THV) nominal diameters correspond with actual after TAVR.HypothesisTo compare valve frame nominal dimensions predicted by the manufacturers’ charts vs their actual dimensions assessed with high-resolution cardiac CT.MethodsIn 50 pts (77.5±10.1 yrs, 51% female, ESII=4.9±3.3%) with post-TAVR 384-row CT aortic scan (SOMATOM Definition Flash™, Dual Source, SIEMENS®) (11/2009-06/2017), volumetric quantitative CT analysis at a Syngo Via workstation (Siemens, Germany) was done to include inflow (all THV) as well as waist and outflow regions (THV having supra-annular design). Per THV with supra-annular design 10 cross-sections perpendicular to the THV long axis were analyzed and per intra-annular 7.ResultsThere were 20 CoreValves (28.9±2.1 mm), 8 Evolut R (29.3±2.2 mm), 17 ESTM (25.8±2.2 mm), and 5 LotusTM (25.4±0.9 mm). CT scans were done 142±259 days after TAVR. Overall, analyzed were 434 THV valve frame cross-sections. Minimum THV inflow diameter was smaller than predicted by the manufacturers’ chart (2.5±0.3 vs 2.7±0.3mm, p |
