Zusammenfassung:BackgroundDetection of early Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) remains challenging despite Task Force criteria.ObjectiveTo examine the utility of feature-tracking CMR for detection of early ARVC.MethodsThe retrospective cohort included 48 healthy controls (42.4±15.6 years, 45.8% male), 29 patients with borderline ARVC (satisfying only 1 major plus 1 minor, 3 minor, 1 major or 2 minor criteria, 40.4±15.1 years, 51.7% male), and 28 patients with definite ARVC (45.0±17.6 years, 82.1% male). Right ventricular radial, circumferential and longitudinal strain, ejection fraction, and volume were quantified using feature tracking software (Circle 5.6.2, Calgary, Canada) on cine CMR datasets (Figure).ResultsThere were no differences between control, borderline, and definite ARVC groups in age, body surface area, genotype positivity, or right ventricular ejection fraction. However, there were significant differences in right ventricular end diastolic volume index (EDVI), end systolic volume index (ESVI) (control vs borderline vs definite ARVC, EDVI55.7±12.8 vs 77.4±19.7 vs 109.0±36.7 ml/m^2, p
