Zusammenfassung:Spectral and luminescence investigations of disordered Na5 YSi4O12:Nd3+ crystals with high ionic conductivity are carried out. Absorption and luminescence spectral analysis allow to refine some details of crystal structure of this superionic conductor and to determine crystal‐field splitting schemes of Nd3+ ions' 4F3/2, and 4I9/2‐15/2 manifolds. Such luminescence branching ratios, and effective cross‐section of transitions, connected with intensive bands in 4F3/2 → 4I11/2 and 4F3/2 → 4I13/2 channels are also determined.
