Zusammenfassung: | The depolarization current in a dielectric with two bipolar, immobile charge layers is considered. Using simplifying assumptions, the depolarization current equations in the short‐circuited system are obtained. Two cases are considered: the isothermal discharge and the thermally stimulated discharge. The influence of several parameters on the TSD current spectra is examined. The theoretical results and the experimental ϱ peak for polyester polymer are compared.
