Amphiphilic Aggregation in Concentrated Acids. Interfacial Activity from N‐(n‐Alkyl)‐Pyridinium Salts in Sulfuric Acid The critical micelle concentration of N‐(n‐alkyl)‐pyridinium salts in sulfuric acid of different concentrations was determined by measurements of their surface tension and interfacial tension changes. The concentration of surface saturation Γmax and surface area per molecule F were calculated from the slope of decreasing parts of surface tension lines VS log c. The influence of counter ion and anorganic additives was studied.
