A convenient synthesis of NG-mono[14C-methyl]-L-arginine

NG‐Mono[14C‐methyl]‐L‐arginine was prepared in a two‐step synthesis. N,S‐dimethylthiopseudouronium iodide [methyl‐14C] was prepared in excellent yield and afforded the labelled amino acid on coupling with L‐ornithine.
