ChemInform Abstract: SeO2 Mediated Efficient Synthesis of Amides and α‐Ketoamides of Secondary Amines with Wide Substrate Scope

A facile SeO2‐mediated methodology for the synthesis of α‐ketoamides from acetophenones or phenylacetylenes as well as amides from aryl aldehydes is developed.
