ChemInform Abstract: Structure and Photoluminescence Properties of Ce3+-Doped Novel Silicon-Oxynitride Ba4-zMzSi8O20-3xN2x (M: Mg, Ca, Sr)

The undoped and Ce3+‐doped title compounds are prepared by solid state reactions using Si3N4, SiO2, BaCO3, MgO, CaCO3, SrCO3, and CeO2 as starting materials (BN boat, 1050—1300 °C, N2/5% H2).
