Zusammenfassung: | Highly luminescent tetranuclear CuI complexes are discussed in this work, along with their synthesis and in‐depth photophysical characterization. These promising candidates for organic light‐emitting diodes show a huge luminescence thermochromism with completely different emission colors ranging from orange‐red (290 K) to blue (10 K). The underlying strongly temperature‐dependent excited state structures are determined by applying time‐resolved step‐scan FTIR spectroscopy in combination with DFT calculations.
