Zusammenfassung: | The Cover Feature illustrates a newly‐developed continuum model for magnesium‐ion batteries with a Chevrel Phase Mo6S8 cathode. The model includes the unique crystal structure of Chevrel Phase Mo6S8 with two energetically different intercalation sites, desolvation prior to intercalation and a microstructure with an inhomogeneous particle size distribution with the aim to provide a better understanding of limiting processes and strategies to optimize the cell design.
