Zusammenfassung:Immobilization and site isolation of catalytically active precursors onto solid surfaces constitute a typical method for realizing high‐performance heterogeneous catalysts. Site isolation sometimes not only significantly improves catalyst stability, but also provides unique activity and selectivity on heterogeneous surfaces. In this chapter, recent examples of site‐isolated heterogeneous catalysts on support surfaces are highlighted.
