Zusammenfassung: | The subject of climate change, and crucially the average temperature of the globe, has been at the center of public opinion and attention in the recent decades, and indeed since mankind evolved consciousness of weather patterns and cyclicality. Besides the well‐known, and well‐discussed, process of fossil fuel burning as a driver of increased global greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere, methane and CO

levels have also increased significantly due to the large number of cattle being farmed globally. All climate‐related risks are divided in two categories, “physical” risks and “transition” risks, based on the nature of their action. Carbon risk and carbon pricing are methodologies and tools that are used to measure future concealed impacts of current carbon usage and to make visible the “hidden” social costs of carbon emissions, thus incentivizing companies to transition to more carbon‐neutral practices. |
