Zusammenfassung: | This chapter examines staff wellbeing in the context of workplaces with links to practice development (PD) concepts. It discusses what wellbeing is, and why it is important in health and social care workplaces and wider work environments. Flourishing is critical to the state of wellbeing. Conversations on the launch day led to development of additional activities such as the celebration tea, where staff could nominate themselves or others in their team for going the extra mile or contributing to another's sense of wellbeing. The chapter presents two case studies, showing how PD as an approach strives to develop person‐centred workplaces that enable workplace wellbeing to flourish. It concludes with key insights drawn from the case studies, summarising how workplaces can support staff wellbeing, enabling staff teams and their care recipients to benefit fully from the potential that staff have to offer. |
