Zusammenfassung: | This chapter focuses on work undertaken in the United Kingdom and Australia regarding leading system change utilising practice development principles and approaches. It aims to share approaches and outcomes to inform contemporary education and workforce development strategy essential to shaping health system reform. One approach to contemporary education strategy being undertaken in New South Wales, Australia is the focus on systems leadership and management capability development by the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI). The HETI facilitation standards inform development for effective facilitation of individuals, teams and organisations to improving person‐centred cultures and health outcomes. System leadership approaches deliver capabilities for collective leadership essential for transformation of healthcare services aligned to the World Health Organization aspirations. Ownership and sustainability were achieved by having dedicated time to work across service delivery boundaries, to learn together in a safe, supportive workplace environment and to agree collective action. |
