Zusammenfassung: | This chapter presents a ubiquitous platform, called PeMo‐EC, for prevention, follow‐up, and aid to cardiological urgency. PeMo‐EC is composed of a hardware component, responsible for acquiring an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal and sending it to a mobile computing device, and a software layer, running on portable devices and servers, which is in charge of providing visualization, automatic analysis, and pre‐diagnostic data, based on the collected ECG signals. The proposed framework for the pervasive and mobile platform for ECG signal acquisition, processing, and pre‐diagnostic extraction encompasses the following modules: acquisition module, patient's smartphone application and ECG signal processing module, physician's smartphone application and query/alarm module, and collaborative database and data integration module. The chapter synthesizes the adopted methodology, emphasizing the physiological data flow, from the patient to the physician and to the collaborative database, and also the main actors involved in the process. |
