Zusammenfassung: | Magnet is the most important part in a practically applied SMES (Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage). The design of magnet is also the core technology when manufacturing a SMES. Considering different demands of application and features of superconducting tapes, the magnet of SMES is designed to many kinds of structures to make SMES suitable for different conditions of application. In this article, several common structures of SMES magnet are introduced and the development of SMES magnet is shown based on some instances. Furthermore, the key electromagnetic parameters and the principle of designing magnet are expounded. Meanwhile, a whole set of scheme of deigning SMES magnet is concluded. And the relative problems are put forward to establish a more perfect process of designing SMES magnet. In addition, the current lead and quench protection are both key parts which ensure that the magnet can work normally. Hence, the features and designing principle of these two parts are introduced in the end. |
