Zusammenfassung: | This chapter discusses strategies for successful evaluations, a process for how to assess staff and organizational progress toward professional development goals, and how to calculate the return on the talent investment. The evaluation process duplicates the talent development platform process itself and adds year‐to‐year comparisons and qualitative data on how the learning process is going for staff and volunteers. Feedback and assessment are critical to an enhanced learning experience for staff and volunteers. A good performance assessment process is one of the pillars of a strong learning culture. The chapter shows the return on investment calculations for the four organizations such as volunteer‐run organization, small grassroots organization, midsized organization and grantmaking organization. It also reviews the shifting that occurred as a result of talent development platform implementation and evaluation, resulting in new scores from both the organizational learning assessment and the individual professional development assessment. |
