Zusammenfassung:Pilot application validation is a crucial step for moving toward the validation of the software produced by business innovation in virtual enterprise environment project (BIVEE). Software components of the BIVEE Environment expose a seamless integration and interoperability among each other such that the end‐users are dealing with a single integrated system. Hence, during the pilot application validation process, end‐users use a single platform through unified interfaces. This chapter provides a description of the AS‐IS status of the two end‐user organizations in BIVEE, namely AIDIMA and Loccioni. An overview of the business objectives of AIDIMA and Loccioni is presented. The value for the selected KPIs, similar profiles and similar high‐level assessments is discussed during the SMC. The chapter presents the results obtained from the two phases of the second systematic monitoring campaign. Improvement in the understanding of all the reports and KPIs leads to very successful management of innovation projects.
