Zusammenfassung: | The actions of the associates and leaders at U.S. Cellular are guided by a strong commitment to the organizational business model called the Dynamic Organization. To be an effective leader of the Dynamic Organization, leaders were asked to develop a leadership teachable point of view (LTPOV), based on the work of Noel Tichy in his book, The Leadership Engine. Making the LTPOV engaging and impactful requires the leader to display authenticity and vulnerability. The first‐level leaders attending the workshop are asked to develop the first draft of their LTPOV as part of their pre‐work. Four weeks prior to the workshop, these leaders receive a nine‐page instructional guide to help them in their LTPOV development. Finally, although the development of the LTPOV is done in a safe environment, some participants are still reluctant to deliver their LTPOVs to their leaders and teams after the workshop. |
