Zusammenfassung:As flexible displays become more commercially widespread there are some specific design criteria that may influence the development of devices for determining touch interactions in flexible devices. Much of the early work on flexible devices for touch input has focused on modifying technologies that are widely used for non‐flexible applications to implement them in flexible devices. This chapter reviews some widely used technologies for sensing touch in non‐flexible applications; introduces some novel uses of touch‐sensing devices for flexible devices; describes some work on developing materials and processes for touch‐sensing devices that are compatible with flexible displays; and discusses some questions that may guide future development of touch‐input interactions in flexible applications. It highlights a few examples of touch interaction on flexible displays. Many of these applications have focused on using printable conductive coatings in place of vacuum‐deposited transparent conductive layers to create flexible projected‐capacitive touch sensors.
