Zusammenfassung:A method for calibrating the system for recording the gas emission behind the front of a shock wave at the Shock Tube Experimental Complex of the Research Institute of Mechanics of Moscow State University in the spectral range 190–1100 nm is presented. The primary attention is paid to the issue of obtaining measured values in absolute units. The procedure for calibrating the measuring system using standard radiation sources is described. It is shown that only the combined use of the panoramic spectrum data with the results of the temporal evolution of radiation in a narrow spectral range makes it possible to obtain the correct information on the radiation power density of the plasma components in a shock wave.
