Zusammenfassung:The transcription of the hlyIIR gene of Bacillus cereus , which is a negative transcriptional regulator of the hlyII gene of hemolysin II, the virulence factor of B. cereus , has been studied. The sequence of the promoter upstream of the hlyIIR gene was identified and the start point of transcription was determined. The effect of HlyIIR on the transcription of its own promoter was analyzed in vitro and in vivo. The constitutive synthesis of the final product was revealed in B. cereus . The results indicate the absence of autoregulation of the hlyIIR gene and the absence of involvement of the hemolysin II gene promoter in regulation of the hlyIIR gene expression.
