Previous medical history and family history were not remarkable, and physical examination was normal. Gynecologic examination showed normal vagina with an 8 cm diameter hard cervical mass that bled easily. The uterus was normal and movable. No mass was found in the adnexal area. Lateral ligaments were not thickened. Ultrasound indicated cervical diameter was 5.9 cm with 5.7 cm ~ 5.8 cm low echo mass be identified. A cervical biopsy done after admission, the pathologic finding showed diffuse, medium-sized oval or round cells with high nuclear/cytoplasm ratio. Nuclei had an oval shape with weak basophilic staining and reticular-like chromatin with scantly distributed eosinophils. Nucleoli was small and immature. |
