Zusammenfassung: | Benign metastasizing leiomyoma (BML) is a rare entity, which was initially described by Steiner in 1939, and is now used to describe the presence of cytologically bland and mitotically inactive smooth muscle tumors in extrauterine sites in conjunction with simultaneously appearing or previously removed leiomyomas during myomectomy or hysterectomy.2 Some researchers have reported cases of the disease, focusing on the symptoms, treatments and outcomes of individual cases.
