Regioselective Synthesis of Polymerizable Vinyl Guaifenesin Esters Catalyzed by an Alkaline Protease of Bacillus subtilis

O6; Three polymerizable vinyl guaifenesin esters with different acyl donor carbon chain lengths (C4,C6,C10) were regioselectivly synthesized by an alkaline protease from Bacillus subtilis in pyridine at 50°C for 1, 3, 5 days respectively.
