Zusammenfassung: | As China’s social pattern changes from “rural China” to “urban-rural China”, the problems of rural education are gradually projected into The Times, which need the intervention of spatial perspective. Based on the spatial turn of social critical theory, the self-reflection on the governance process of rural education modernization, the spatial implication of rural ontology is re-interpreted, so as to highlight rural-oriented spatial governance position. Modern rural education governance focuses on the perspective of resource allocation and redistribution to solve the problems of rural society or lack of educational capital and resources. The excavation and recognition of the “real” location and ontological value of rural areas, especially the geographical, social, cultural, historical and life meanings carried by rural areas, have not been reproduced in the process of rural education governance.
