Zusammenfassung: | How to blend the entertainment with education in game design is the breakthrough of early childhood development. Approaches to learning, as the crucial part, focus mainly on how to learn instead of what to learn, as well as learners who take initiative and integrity in learning process, which provides a new perspective for design research of educational games. Based on related results, this study constructs an educational game framework based on approaches to learning, presenting the interactive and development of each element of approaches to learning in entertainment and learning from two dimensions–emotion/motivation and action/behavior. Based on this framework, the author designs a game named chanting poems of Tang Dynasty for children aged from 3 to 6. Early experiment suggests that this game has significant impact on children’s interest, happiness and motivation etc., while it needs further research and improvement for promotion of persistence, flexibility and self-regulation |
