Zusammenfassung: | Developing students’ biology key competency is an important goal of biology education in middle schools. The integration of information technology and traditional teaching is one of the effective ways to achieve this goal. Based on the three-dimensional model of “biology key competency - biology competency - biology knowledge map”, the biology online learning platform of “Smart Learning Partner” is built for precise instruction. The resources on this platform can be used in different learning stages, such as students self-learning before class, on class learning, and after class assessment. On the one hand, this platform can help teachers and students diagnose students’ developmental levels in different cognitive dimensions, and can provide accurate learning resources for students. On the other hand, teachers can integrate the resources on the platform with traditional teaching in various ways to promote the development of students’ biology key competency.
