从上博简《子羔》《容成氏》看古代乐正的相关问题
上博简《容成氏》有乐正“契”,《子羔》有乐正“瞽叟”,传世文献中则尚有乐正“质”与“夔”。“夔”“质”“契”三字古音相近,当为一人之分化。甲骨文中高祖“夔”,即商人始祖“契”;《尚书》以“契”为司徒,是从乐官的教育职能分化而来;《国语》“商人禘舜而祖契”,“契”即“瞽叟”,“瞽叟”为舜父,故“商人禘舜”。“夔”的字形下部像人侧立一足而舞之形,在周以后仅“夔”字还保留下加一足的写法,遂产生了“夔”一足的传说;“夔”即“瞽叟”,原为有虞氏部落之长,故《左传》称“后夔”,“后”即指部落之长。瞽叟、舜为父子,皆有虞氏部落之长,故传世文献中瞽叟、舜为庶人之说不确。...
