Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, a method was proposed that the wall shear stress of artery could be determined by measuring the centerline axial velocity and radial motion of arterial wall simultaneously. The method is simple in application and can get higher precision when it is used to determine the shear stress of arterial wall in vivo. As an example, the shear stress distribution in periodic oscillatory flow of human carotid was calculated and discussed. The computed results show that the shear stress distribution at any given instant is almost uniform and will be zero at the centerline and tends to maximum at the vessel wall. |
