Zusammenfassung:Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of HER-2/neu and RECK proteins in breast cancer tissue. Methods:Seventy-six and 30 samples respectively from breast cancer tissue and normal breast tissue were detected by inmunohistochemical SP assay. The expression of HER-2/neu and RECK proteins in breast cancer tissue and normal breast tissue was observed. Besides, the expression intensity and positive rates of HER-2/neu and RECK proteins at different TNM stagings and differentiated degrees of breast cancer tissue were compared, and the relationship between them was analyzed. Results:The positive rate and intensity of HER-2/neu expression were higher, but those of RECK expression were lower in breast cancer tissue than in normal breast tissue. The positive rates and intensity of HER-2/neu and RECK expression were associated with TNM staging and differentiated tumor tissue, and HER-2/neu and RECK expression in breast cancer tissue had a negative correlation. Conclusion:Overexpression of HER-2/neu and reduced and deleted expression of RECK may be one of the biological mechanisms in the occurrence and progression of breast cancer.
