新加坡养老模式与高层次老年护理人才培养——以新加坡国立大学为例

Stepping into the 21st century, Singapore entered an aging society and established a community-based pattern of aging in place, causing great demand for high-level Geriatric nursing talents. In 2006, the National University of Singapore established the first nursing undergraduate degree program in Singapore, followed by graduate education. This means Singapore has integrated the general and vocational nursing education system, without dependence on foreign universities to cultivate high-level nursing talents. Universities have the right to set nursing major with demand-oriented education goals to cultivate qualified and geriatric nursing talents and leaders through general learning and interprofessional education. The establishment of the nursing degree program at the National University of Singapore not only enhances the status of the nursing profession, but also makes Singapore become a regional nursing education and research center
