Zusammenfassung:The paper deals with the austenitisation of copper-based alloys with shape memory effect. Austenitisation by laser remelting is compared with austenitisation in the solid state in a furnace. Especially in the pseudo-elastic state, homogenisation by laser remelting affects the stress –strain curves in such a way that reduced formation of intergranular cracks can be expected even for fatigue loading. The shape memory alloy was obtained by modification of the CuMn10Al6Zn5Ni2Fe2 “manganiferous” complex bronze.
