Zusammenfassung:1,3-Dimethyl-2-iminoimidazoline (4, ImNH) reacts with CS to give the imidazolium salt [ImNH ][(ImNCS H] (7) in which two dithioformimide fragments are linked by a hydrogen bridge. From the trimethylsilyl derivative ImNSiMe (11) and CS the adduct ImNSiMe • CS (12) is obtained which reacts with oxygen to give the disulfide (ImNCS ) (14). The X-ray structures of 7 and 14 were determined.
