Zusammenfassung:Capital accumulation and entrepreneurship among the Waluguru traders in Tanzania influence and are influenced by social behavior. Thus both economic and social forces shaped the hierarchical vegetable trade between the Uluguru mountains and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's capital. This hierarchy has four levels: established traders, young people taking part in the illegal urban trade, young traders who obtain a legitimate stall in a market and traders who are trying to diversify.
