Zusammenfassung:In photosynthesis light energy is utilized to produce ATP and NADPH. If, for whatever reason, the supply of light does not match the availability of substrates, the plant responds by adapting its photosynthetic apparatus. Recent advances in instrumentation and methodology in photosynthesis research are summarized and an application is given illustrating the effect of airpollutants on Douglas firs.
