The data processing device performs steps of processing the multimedia contents data so that the predetermined media data is reproduced at the predetermined reproduction time on the basis of a schedule portion, receiving a predetermined input operation at the predetermined input time. The data processing device carries out a predetermined editing operation and resumes processing of the multimedia contents in accordance with the schedule portion.
