| Zusammenfassung: | A method of enabling a mobile station (MS) to request radio resources for uplink packet transmission is provided. The method includes starting a supervision timer at the beginning of a packet access procedure, the packet access procedure initiated by scheduling the sending of a packet channel request message and performing cell re-selection when the supervision timer expires, wherein the supervision timer is stopped when any message is received from a network in response to the packet channel request message or after M+1 (M≧0) attempts to send the packet channel request message. |
