In the method, a call initiated by the communication device to initiate a first form of provisioning of the device is received. In response to the call, capabilities of the communication device are requested. In response to the request, an indication of whether the communication device supports a second form of provisioning different from the first form of provisioning is received. Based on the indication received, provisioning of the communication device using the second form of provisioning is initiated, or the communication device is provisioned using the first form of provisioning. |
