Conveyor-type dishwasher with a slip-free short stroke

The invention relates to a method for transporting a transportation rack through a conveyor-type dishwasher which has a plurality of treatment zones by means of transportation catches which are accommodated on transportation rails. The transportation catches transport transportation racks in the conveying direction, with the transportation rails being driven by means of a rotary shaft. The transportation catches pivot about a shaft, which runs parallel to the conveying direction, during a forward stroke (VH) of the transportation rails and during the return stroke (RH) of said transportation rails. The invention also relates to a conveyor-type dishwasher comprising transportation rails on which transportation catches are held. The transportation catches are mounted such that they can pivot on shafts which are oriented parallel to the conveying direction of the transportation rack.
