Metallic filament end retaining clip and take-up reel for metallic filament

To make it possible to replace a metallic filament end retaining clip in a take-up reel for metallic filament, a clip has, for example, a clip portion having an essentially W shape, and attachment arm portions and coiled portions on both sides thereof. The upper portion of the clip portion and the attachment arm portions are fitted into the space between a flange outer periphery portion, and the end part of a metallic filament W is retained through elastic force. Alternatively, a clip mounting portion and a clip tip retaining portion are formed in a flange, into which a clip is mounted in a detachable state, the clip having, for example, essentially inverse U-shaped positioning attachment portions formed on both sides of an essentially U-shaped clip portion.
