System for providing continuity between session clients and method therefor

An online communication system includes a plurality of remote session clients and one or more online servers. The online communication system provides continuity of an online session between a server and one of the remote session clients. A first session client participates in the online session, including receiving and accumulating a plurality of session information for the online session. The first session client initiates a transfer of the session information to a second session client to enable the second session client to seamlessly continue the online session in place of the first session client after the transfer of the session information.
