Zusammenfassung: | An absorber in a gas treatment plant produces a rich solvent that is flashed to produce flashed rich solvent (D) and recycle gas (D), wherein the recycle gas (D) is not mixed with the absorber feed gas as commonly practiced, but mixed with the rich solvent. Such configurations exhibit superior rich solvent loading, thereby reducing solvent circulation. Further contemplated gas treatment plantsmay also include a regenerator in which carbon dioxide from atmospheric flashed vapor of the rich solvent is employed as a stripping gas in a regenerator to strip hydrogen sulfide from the rich solvent, and wherein sweet gas is employed to strip the carbon dioxide from the rich solvent. |
