Sliding rail assembly for a sliding panel movable along a track

A sliding rail assembly for a sliding panel, movable along a track between open and closed positions, includes a runner and a glide for sliding engagement along the runner. The runner is adapted to extend from the track. The glide has an interior surface disposed about the runner and an exterior surface adapted to extend from the sliding panel. A layer of polymeric material is secured by an adhesive to either one of the interior surface of the glide, the runner, or both for facilitating sliding movement of the glide along the runner.
