Anti-buckling device for thin-walled fluid ducts

Disclosed is an anti-buckling device which is made of an elastic material and comprises several ribs that extend in the longitudinal direction thereof, the space between two ribs forming a groove. The anti-buckling device is inserted into a thin-walled duct. The anti-buckling device prevents the duct from buckling and thus from being occluded in a bend when said duct is bent. A fluid is able to circulate within the duct and bypass the bend in the grooves of the anti-buckling device. The envelope of the cross section of the anti-buckling device is essentially lenticular as a duct having a round cross section also becomes lenticular in a bend.
