Zusammenfassung: | Apparatus and methods are provided to implement an efficient partial output finite impulse response (FIR) filter. In one embodiment, the filter operates by first receiving a set of samples from a streaming data source via a communications medium. Next the set of samples are organized into a convolution matrix which is decomposed by generating a plurality of diagonal matrixes, each diagonal matrix corresponding with a pre-addition and a post-addition matrix. The filtered samples are generated, in one embodiment, using the plurality of diagonal matrixes, and the filtered samples are output to a communications medium. |
