Ply with strength carriers embedded in a rubber mixture and vehicle pneumatic tires with a belt bandage thereof

2 21 2 F1×EF2×EBelt bandage for a vehicle pneumatic tire that includes a ply having strength carriers embedded in an unvulcanized rubber mixture. The strength carriers run essentially parallel to one another. Each strength carrier includes a hybrid cord that has a first twisted yarn having a high modulus of elasticity of at least approximately 25000 N/mmand a second twisted yarn having a low modulus of elasticity which is no greater than approximately 15000 N/mm. The first and second twisted yarns are final-twisted together. A cord count E in cords per 5 cm ply widths, a force Fat 2% elongation of each hybrid cord, and a force Fat 6% elongation of each hybrid cord satisfies the following relationships: ≧approximately 600 N >approximately 1500 N.
