Field of the Invention There is now provided a kitchen gas cooking stove with a glass-ceramic, glass, or ceramic top, a gas cooktop with a glass-ceramic, glass, or ceramic top, and a glass-ceramic, glass, or ceramic top of a cooking stove or cooktop with a venting structure thereon. A component-part is mounted on the top in a cutout portion with an attachment that prevents contact between the component-part and the top and seals the cutout portion from cooking spills to prevent spills on the top from seeping along said attached silicone body toward the cutout portion.
